Know where you are going in life - for my beloved ones

Know where you are going in life"

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village. A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took them to catch it.

"Not very long." they answered in unison.

"Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?"

The fishermen explained that their small catches were sufficient to meet their needs and those of their families.

"But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"We sleep late, fish a little, play with our children, and take siestas with our wives. In the evenings, we go into the village to see our friends, have a few drinks, play the guitar, and sing few songs. We have a full life."

The tourist interrupted." I have an MBA from Harvard and I can help you!
You should start by fishing longer every day.
You can then sell the extra fish you catch.
With the extra revenue, you can buy a bigger boat."

"And after that?"

"With the extra money the larger boat will bring, you can buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middle man, you can then negotiate directly with the processing plants and may be open your own plant.
You can then leave this little village and move to Mexico City, Los Angeles, or even New York City!
From there you can direct your huge new enterprise."

"How long would that take?"

"Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years.” replied the tourist.

And after that?”

"Afterwards? Well my friend, that's when it gets really interesting,” answered the tourist, laughing. "When your business gets really big, you can start buying and selling stocks and make millions.

"Millions? Really? And after that? asked the fishermen.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the coast, Sleep late, play with your children, Catch a few fish, and take a siesta with your wife. And spend your evenings drinking and enjoying your friends."

"With all due respect sir, but that's exactly what we are doing now. So what's the point wasting twenty-five years? asked Mexicans.

And the moral of this story is: Know where you're going in life ..... You may already be there.

A Day Dreaming Lazy Priest

Once upon a time there lived a priest who was extremely lazy and poor at the same time. He did not want to do any hard work but used to dream of being rich one day. He got his food by begging for alms. One morning he got a pot of milk as part of the alms. He was extremely delighted and went home with the pot of milk. He boiled the milk, drank some of it and put the remaining milk in a pot. He added slight curds in the pot for converting the milk to curd. He then lay down to rest.

He was extremely delighted at the pot of milk he found and started dreaming about the pot of curd while he lay asleep. He dreamt that if he could become rich somehow all his miseries would be gone. His thoughts turned to the pot of milk he had set to form curd. He dreamt on : "By morning the pot of milk would set, it would be converted to curd. I would churn the curd and make butter from it. I would heat the butter and make ghee out of it. I will go to that market and sell that ghee, and make some money. With that money i will buy a hen. The hen will lay may eggs which will hatch and there will be many more hens and cocks. These cocks and hen will in turn lay hundreds of eggs and I will soon have a poultry farm of my own." He kept on imagining.

"I will sell all the hens of my poultry and buy some cows, and open a milk dairy. All the town people will buy milk from me. I will be very rich and soon I shall buy jewellery. The king will buy all the jewellery from me. I will be so rich that I will be able to marry an exceptionally beautiful girl from a rich family. Soon I will have a handsome son. If he does any mischief I will be very angry and to teach him a lesson, I will hit him with a big stick." During this dream, he involuntarily picked up the stick next to his bed and thinking that he was beating his son, raised the stick and hit the pot. The pot of milk broke and he awoke from his sleep. Only then did he realise he was daydreaming.

A small story - Money (am not the author)

Money

There was a man who worked all of his life and saved all of his money. He was a real miser when it came to his money. He loved money more than just about anything, and just before he died, he said to his wife, "Now listen, when I die, I want you to take all my money and place it in the casket with me. I wanna take my money to the afterlife."
So he got his wife to promise him with all her heart that when he died, she would put all the money in the casket with him.

Well, one day he died. He was stretched out in the casket, the wife was sitting there in black next to her closest friend. When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said "Wait just a minute!"

She had a shoe box with her, she came over with the box and placed it in the casket. Then the undertakers locked the casket down and rolled it away. Her friend said, "I hope you weren't crazy enough to put all that money in the casket."

"Yes," the wife said, "I promised. I'm a good Christian, I can't lie. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with him."

"You mean to tell me you put every cent of his money in the casket with him?"
"I sure did. I got it all together, put it into my account and I wrote him a check."

I like my toys says the little heart

These Toys are of a kid you like them a lot. The kid is never tired of playing with them. Why it is so? That's be of the curiosity the kid has. His knowledge at this stage about the specific toy is a mystery for him, how it is moving is the first question in his mind that arises. And next came into his mind what’s the magic in the wheels (called the Tyres) that makes this object move.
The kid likes to play with these vehicles and explorer them in different ways. He could find this has something that can lift the object which got no much interest to his mind. He could not see anything moving so drastically like the movement of the vehicle as the tyres rotate.  I showed him that you can keep another car over this and take wherever you like to take, when it got repaired or its tyre is punctured. (He had seen Car gets punctured and he knows well).

Then he bought a small car of his and kept on it and was playing, as this car is the defect one. Could you find that there is no tire, what would have happened to it? Hmm, this kid is very fond of the tyres and he removes the wheels off the vehicles within 2 days of its purchase. And when asked he says, the TYRE got punctured and its given for repair in the repairing shop.

The tale of a Divine tortoise

This pic I took under the tortoise which has the magic square with numbers. I was wondering at that time why and what is it significance. Then I searched the net and found that approximately 5000 years ago, the chinese emperor "Yu" saw a divine tortoise in the Yang-tse river. Here did you notice the sum in all the staright lines is 15. Does the divine tortoise want to convey any message to the emperor.

This is the tortoise he found from which he picturised the dots into numbers and finally summed them which was a mistery for him at that time. What exactly he got from analysing this dots on a divine tortoise.

Here is the full story for you http://mathforum.org/alejandre/magic.square/loshu2.html
